    Feel a bit safer anyway. I don't smoke, and sometimes the downtown vagrants approach me for cigs. A few times in quite a nasty fashion, too. Tell 'em you don't smoke and can't give them a smoke... you're lucky if they just stumble away or only hurl racial insults at you.

    Hey Cat: we're officially the Knife Violence Capital of Canada now. No big surprise, we're world renowned for our knife fights!

    Unofficially, we're also the 2009 Violence Against Babies Capital, but haven't seen StatsCan report on that.

    Well, you kind of triggered the spoiler alert for tomorrow, but thanks for the heads-up regardless. (Wait, are we seriously the baby-violence capital? I'd have to see some numbers on that one, but on the other hand I can't entirely bring myself to doubt it.)

    Violence Against Babies... because "Baby Violence Capital" could be interpreted that it is the babies committing acts of violence.
